1.1 Purpose
These instructions contain information for the safe use of SpanSet Magnum® Plus Flex
round slings as listed in the EU Declaration of Conformity under "Type" (see EU Declaration
of Conformity).
1.2 Target groups
These instructions are intended for slingers and authorised persons. A slinger is a person
with suitable vocational training, training (see 7 Training), professional experience and
recent professional activity that enables them to recognise risks and avoid hazards that
may arise from the use of SpanSet Magnum® Plus Flex round slings. A competent person
has appropriate professional training, professional experience and recent professional
activity that enables them to carry out inspections and assessments in relation to SpanSet
Magnum® Plus Flex round slings.
