INSTALLATION USING VEHICLE SAFETY BELTS
1.
Place the child safety seat on the car seat (Figure 2).
2.
Put the child in the child safety seat (Figure 3) and adapt the headrest height to the
child's height (see Headrest adjustment).
3.
Guide the shoulder belt through the shoulder belt guide under the headrest (Figure
4) and the hip belt through the hip belt guide under armrests (Figure 5). Ensure that
the hip belt is situated low and protects the child's pelvis.
4.
Fasten the safety belts. Correct safety belt fastening is indicated by a click (Figure
6). The safety belts should hold the child tightly, without clasping them and causing
any discomfort.
5.
Ensure that the safety belts are not twisted.
INSTALLATION USING ISOFIX AND VEHICLE SAFETY BELTS
1.
Press and hold the ISOFIX adjustment button and then pull the ISOFIX arms (Figure 7).
2.
Place the child safety seat on the car seat. Anchor ISOFIX arms in the connectors in the
child safety seat. The arms will lock and you will hear a characteristic click (Figure 8).
3.
Whenever required, use plastic guides delivered to facilitate installation. Ensure that
the guides are in the correct location (Figure 9).
4.
Push the child safety seat leftwards and rightwards toward the backrest to ensure
that it is well pressed to the car seat.
5.
The green indicator on the ISOFIX button must be visible on both sides of the child
safety seat (Figure 10).
6.
Next, perform the steps described in THE INSTALLATION USING VEHICLE SAFETY
BELTS.
HEADREST ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the headrest, press the headrest adjustment lever (Figure 11) and set the headrest
in the desired position.
PLEASE NOTE!
The headrest height should be adapted to the child's height. It should not be too high
or too low. The headrest should surround the head. It should not be lower (e.g. around
the neck and shoulder blades) or higher (e.g. leaving lower head unprotected). The well-
adjusted headrest protects lower and upper part of the child's head, including its sides.
