• Risk of injury! Do not use the device if the
stainless steel blade is damaged as it may
have sharp edges.
• Do not use extension cables in the bath-
room to ensure the mains adapter can be
accessed quickly in an emergency.
• Only use the original comb attachments.
 WARNING
To avoid damage to health, please note the
following:
• Switch o the device before attaching or
switching the comb attachment.
• Risk of fire! Ensure that no highly flammable
liquids are located near the device.
• Remove all packaging material before using
the device.
• Ensure that the mains cable does not pose
a trip hazard.
• Only connect the device to a socket that
has the correct voltage as indicated on the
type plate.
• Only operate the device according to the
specifications on the type plate.
• Only pull on the mains adapter to remove
the mains cable from the socket.
• Never leave the device unattended while in
use.
• Switch o the device after every use.
• Pull the mains adapter out of the socket
after each completed charging process.
Notes on handling cutting oil
• Cutting oil may be harmful or fatal if swal-
lowed. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting
– seek medical attention immediately.
• If cutting oil comes into contact with the
eyes or mouth, rinse the a ected area with
plenty of water. If irritation persists, seek
medical attention immediately.
NOTICE
• Protect the device and its accessories from
impacts, humidity, dirt, marked temperature
fluctuations and direct sunlight.
• Only operate, charge or store the device at
temperatures from -10°C to 40°C.
Notes on handling batteries
 WARNING
• Do not disassemble, split or crush the bat-
teries. Never subject the battery to mechan-
ical impacts.
• If your skin or eyes come into contact with
battery fluid, rinse the a ected areas with
water and seek medical assistance.
• Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries
into a fire.
• Protect batteries from excessive warmth,
heat and sunlight.
• Exposure of batteries to an environment
with extremely high temperatures or an
extremely low air pressure may result in
explosion or leakage of flammable liquids
and gases.
 CAUTION
• Charge battery before use. Always use the
correct charger. Avoid continuous charging.
NOTICE
• After prolonged storage, it may be neces-
sary to charge and discharge the battery
several times to achieve maximum perfor-
mance.
