Step 2
Now calculate the exact position of the first wooden slat (head piece).
Formula:
Total length of wooden slat - outer length of frame = total wooden overhang
Total wooden overhang: 2 = wooden overhang per side
Position the first slat flush with the top edge of the frame.
Pre-drill with a Ø 1.5 mm drill bit and screw the slat in place with chipboard
screws A2 4.5x25 mm.

Wood is a natural product. There may be knots or resin pockets in the wood.
Please do a visual inspection of the wooden slats and if you see any resin
pockets, point this side downwards.
