Checking the size

The product can only fulfil its protective function
if you select the correct size, it is fitted correctly
and it is undamaged. The manufacturer is not
liable for any possible damage or consequences
caused by incorrect use or wearing clothing that
is not suitable or has only limited suitability for
the correct fitting of the protective device.
• Size: XS/S (suitable for heights between
approximately 141-157cm), length from waist
to shoulder (torso): approx. 400- 440mm.
• Size: M (suitable for heights between
approximately 157-173cm), length from waist
to shoulder (torso): approx. 450-490mm.
• Size: L/XL (suitable for heights between
approximately 173-191cm), length from waist
to shoulder (torso): approx. 500-540mm.
Protection zones (Fig. A)
The product protects the area shown marked in
the figure (1).
If the product differs from its condition upon
delivery or if a damaged product is used then
sufficient protection is no longer guaranteed.
Measurement of waist to
shoulder length (Fig. B)
Waist-shoulder distance (1) – the length as
measured on your back from the waistline to
the highest point of the connecting line between
your shoulder and your neck (Fig. B).
The dimensions of the protection zone in relation
to the total coverage area of the product are
listed below (Fig. C):
A = waist-shoulder distance x 0.72
B = waist-shoulder distance x 0.29
C = waist-shoulder distance x 0.44
D = waist-shoulder distance x 0.29

Putting the product on

Put the product on like a normal waistcoat.
Place the belt around the front and close it using
the hook-and-loop fastener. Then close the zip
fastener.

Important: environmental influences mean that
the protective function could be compromised or
lost. Please ensure that the product is not subject-
ed to extreme temperature fluctuations or to high
levels of humidity.
The product does not offer protection from colli-
sion with a vehicle.
High speeds or hard surfaces can compromise
the protective function or render it no longer
effective.

Care, storage

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents as
they can damage the protective device on the
product. Leave minor soiling to dry and brush it
off the product. In the event of heavy soiling, you
can wash the product with a mild detergent.
First remove the large, removable protector from
the central back area.
Leave the product to dry out completely after
washing before inserting the large, removable
protector into the product.
Store the product in a dry and well-ventilated
place. Avoid source of excessive heat, windows,
doors or glass, and direct sunlight.
Do not expose the product to extreme heat or
cold. The product may not be bent or exposed
to long-term pressure, e.g. in a suitcase, between
hard objects, or in a cupboard.

Disposal

Dispose of the product and the packaging
materials in accordance with current local reg-
ulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags
are not suitable to be given to children. Keep the
packaging materials out of the reach of children.
Dispose of the products and the
packaging in an environmentally friendly
manner.
The recycling code is used to identify
various materials for recycling. The code
consists of the recycling symbol – which
is meant to reflect the recycling cycle – and a
number which identifies the material.
