Commissioning
Warning: Inappropriate use or incorrect replacement of
the power plug can result in a life-threatening electric
shock, or can damage or destroy the device.
Only use the wall-mounted power supply supplied with the
equipment.
Important: Improper or incorrect use of the batteries can reduce
battery lifetime.
First time usage: Charge your handset battery for 14 to 16
hours before you use it for the first time.
Never fully discharge the Li-Ion battery.
If fully discharged, the Li-Ion battery should be recharged
immediately.
Li-Ion batteries with poor performance can be optimized by
completing a few cycles of fully charging and discharging the
batteries. It is important that the Li-Ion battery is fully charged
when the charge/discharged cycles are completed.
Do not leave the handset permanently in the charging cradle.

Insert the wall-mounted power supply plug into the socket on
the underside of the charging cradle.
2.
Insert the wall-mounted power supply plug into a freely ac-
cessible 230 V mains power socket.
3.
Place the handset in the charging cradle (illustration examp-
lary).
COMfortel M-200: The battery starts charging. If the
handset is switched on you see the
while it is charging.
COMfortel M-300: The LED is illuminated red when
charging and green when fully charged.
