Proper Use

Important: Auerswald products are not designed, manufactured,
or intended for use or resale, in environments that require fail-
safe performance, such as in the operation of life-support sys-
tems and/or nuclear facilities. Our products can only be used for
these purposes with prior written permission from Auerswald in
each individual case.
Important: Improper use may, for example, cause functional
restrictions or malfunctions, the destruction of the device or, in a
worst case scenario, personal injury.

The devices COMfortel M-200 and COMfortel M-300 are DECT
telephones designed for use in an Auerswald IP-DECT Wireless
System.
The COMfortel M-300 is designed for use in health-care environ-
ments. The handset is dust-tight and splash-proof. The handset
is equipped with a disinfectant-resistant membrane keypad that
is easy to clean in order to avoid the spread of germs.
For your IP-DECT Wireless System you will require the following
components:
COMfortel WS-400 IP/COMfortel WS-650 IP Single-/Mul-
ticell Server
COMfortel M-100/M-200/M-300 DECT handsets
COMfortel WS-Base Multicell Base (only for COMfortel
WS-400 IP/COMfortel WS-650 IP Multicell Server)
COMfortel WS-R2/WS-R4 Multicell Repeater (optional)
The telephone is cordless and the COMfortel M-200 is intended
for use in closed, dry rooms.
You can make calls either by using the handset or the integrated
loudspeakers (hands-free calling). Another option is to connect a
