The C 48 oxygen filling station requires no maintenance to opera-
te. It is subject only to the natural aging of the components and
their statitical failure rate.
When ordering spare parts, please indicate the manufacturing
number on the rating plate, the device type and the item number
and description of the spare parts.
Please send in only units that have been cleaned and that are free
of hazardous substances for repairs. Use only cleaning agents
approved by IKA to clean IKA
®
below, use the corresponding cleaning agents:
Dye, coloring Isopropanol
Construction materials Water containing detergent
Cosmetics Water containing detergent/isopropanol
Foodstuffs Water containing detergent
Combustible materials Water containing detergent
For materials that are not listed above, please inquire with IKA
Wear protective gloves to clean the units. Electrical devices must
not be placed in the cleaning agent to clean them. Before using
another cleaning or decontamination method than the one re-
commended by the manufacturer, the user must make certain by
consulting with the manufacturer that the intended method will
not damage or destroy the unit.

It should be expected that frequent use will result in wear on the
O rings in the filling head.
The filling head is screwed in place and can be unscrewed after
the pressure hose is removed. The lower O ring (21), which is sub-
jet to particularly high wear and tear, can be reached without di-
sassembling the pressure hose after the cap screw (34) has been
removed.

of compliance" form from the IKA
If you require servicing, return the appliance in its original pa-
ckaging. Storage packaging is not sufficient. Please also use suita-
ble transport packaging.
