6. Description and assembly of the components
• For the laser, port "EXT" (24.3) on the electron-
ics box is connected to port (26.2) on the right
of the microscope, while port (24.5) is connect-
ed to port (26.1) for the laser trigger.
• Connect the lamp power cable of the microsco-
pe (25.8) to the socket "12 V 100 Watt" (24.1).
• To connect the PC, connect the USB port of the
PC to the "PC" port of the electronics box (24.2).
Note:
The laser can be activated via the software. To do
this, the serial interface of the PC has to be con-
nected to the RS232 port of the laser box (33.6,
p.40 or 27b.6).
