8. USE OF THE PROXIMITY CARD AND TAG READERS
The set includes the following proximity tags:
- orange: registration tag (1 pc.)
- grey: user tag (4 pc.)
- black: delete tag (1 pc.)
ADDING USERS
1. Move the registration tag close to the reader on the outdoor unit. You will hear a triple beep, which will mean you
entered the programming mode.
2. Move close to the reader the user key you want to add. A single short beep indicates successful registration of the
proximity tag. A double beep indicates failure to register and the attempt to register the user key must be repeated. To
add a few user keys, you need to bring them close to the reader within 5 seconds, after that time the device will
automatically leave the programming mode.
3. To complete the programming process, bring the registration tag close to the reader again. A long beep will indicate
the successful registration of all user keys and the completion of the registration process.
Note: A maximum of 10 user tags can be registered.
DELETE USER TAG
1. Move the delete tag close to the reader on the outdoor unit. You will hear a triple beep, which will mean you entered
delete mode.
2. Bring the user tag that you want to delete from the device memory close to the reader. You will hear a short beep.
3. Then bring the delete tag close to the reader and hold for 5 seconds. A long beep will indicate successful deletion of
the user tag from the device memory.
DELETE ALL USER TAGS
1. Move the delete tag close to the reader on the outdoor unit. You will hear a triple beep, which will mean you entered
delete mode.
2. Put the registration tag on the reader and hold it for 5 seconds. A long beep will indicate successful deletion of all
user key rings from the device memory.
DOOR/WICKET CONTROL
To open the door/wicket, bring the user tag close to the reader on the external panel. The door will be unlocked for 2s.
RESETTING THE REGISTRATION AND DELETE TAG
If the registration tag or delete tag is lost, it is possible to reset the reader and register the managment tags again.
PASS
1. Remove the
sticker on the back of the outdoor unit. Use a screwdriver to press and hold the reset button for
about 5 seconds.
2. You will hear four times a long beep which will mean a successful reset of managment tags.
3. Then register the management tags again:
a) Move the new registration tag close to the reader on the outdoor unit. You will hear a short beep, which will mean
that you have successfully added your registration tag.
b) Then move the new delete tag close to the reader on the outdoor unit. You will hear a long beep, which will mean
that you have successfully added a delete tag and the registration mode has been left.
Note:
1. Do not register management tags (registration and delete) on one key ring. The device may not function properly.
2. The tags should be moved close to the reader within 5 seconds after restarting the device, otherwise the device will
automatically exit the programming mode.
3. If the process of adding new tags fails, you will hear a short beep twice.
