8. SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
The life span and the reliability of the chair depend on the proper use and the compliance with
the service intervals.
DANGER!
Maintenance works on parts of the electric system have to be only
carried out by certified electricians.
Before carrying out any maintenance, the chair has to be disconnected
from any power source.
Disconnect the power cable from the electric socket and secure the chair
against accidental re-activation.
WARNING!

The covers and enclosures must not be opened, removed or damaged.
Maintenance only whilst chair is not moving.
HINT!
The product can be damaged by improper assembly or dismantling. The
foll owing therefore applies in principle for all service and dismantling work:
• Marking the parts in their shared identity.
• Marking and noting the installation position and location.
• Dismantle, clean and store component groups separately.
Aft er the repair work the following applies in principle:
• Check that all bolted connections are tight.
• Close and lock all covers.
8.1 Customer service
Any defects or malfunctions have to be reported immediately to your certified dealer. He will be
provided with the needed information, documents and replacement parts for the repair if requested.

8.2 Maintenance recommendations
Regular maintenance helps the product to remain without malfunctioning.
This can be carried out by the owner.
HINT!
Some of the noted tasks depend on the amount and the environment of
use.
The maintenance cycles noted in chapter 8.2.2 are minimum cycles.
Depending on the product individual cycles are possible.
8 2 1 Cleaning the chair
Covering fabrics: You can clean the fabrics with a clean vacuum cleaner. To remove stains use
customary fabric cleaner. Please obey the instructions of the cleaner used.
IMPORTANT!
Don't use any solvents like alcohol, petrol or similar.
