3.1 Intended use

The rise and recline chairs Modena and Siena are a seating product exclusively for indoor use
and can only be used by maximum one person a time. The sitting and lying position is adjusted
by an electric drive.
The intended use includes:
• the observance of all information in the operating manual,
• the compliance of the maintenance work,
• the exclusive usage of original parts.
IMPORTANT!
Please use the rise and recline chairs Modena and Siena only as inten-
ded and in a flawless technical safety condition!
Only then the operational safety of the chair can be guaranteed.
IMPORTANT!
The chairs Siena and Modena must be realized exclusively with
the included power supply.
HINT!
This chair can be used by persons of the age of 8 years or older as
well as persons with physical, sensory or mental impairments or lack of
sufficient understanding of the functions if they are under supervision or
have been explained how to use the product and understood the resulting
risks.
Minors must not play with the chair.

Cleaning and maintenance must not be done by minors without supervision.
