MAINTENANCE
Check torque of the adapter wheel bolt (4) after 20-100 km.
Clean the threaded rod of adjustment bolt (2) every six months and treat with universal grease. [Fig. 9]
Treat sliding surfaces of the lock barrel with thin oil every 6 months. [Fig. 12]
After difficult disassembly of the adjustment bolt (2), check the torque of the adapter wheel bolt (4).
Replacement parts are safety parts!
For the installation of replacement parts into our products, we recommend the use of original AL-
KO parts, or of parts that we have expressly approved for installation. For the clear identification
of replacement parts, our service stations require the replacement part identification number
(ETI).
STORAGE
Cover the threaded bore of the adapter wheel bolt (4) with plugs (8) when the AL-KO PROSAFE is
disassembled.
Following disassembly, store all AL-KO PROSAFE components in the box.
