Starting work
– Unpack the power tool and inspect the
contents of the kit for any external me-
chanical damage.
– If the power tool has been stored or
transported at a temperature lower
than the one at which it is intended to
be used, it should be kept in a room
with a temperature ranging from +5°C
to +35°C and a relative humidity not ex-
ceeding 80% for at least two hours to
allow any condensation to evaporate.
Operating or preparing the power tool
for work is prohibited until the conden-
sation on the components and parts of
the power tool has completely dried.
– Check the functioning of the control el-
ements (buttons, regulators, switches,
etc.).
– Turn on the power tool and let it run
without load for about three minutes at
maximum speed.
– Some increased sparking of the brushes
may occur during this time as they align
with the commutator.
– Install and securely fasten the inter-
changeable tool.
– If the test is successful, you can begin
working. Otherwise, seek advice from
the trading organization or service cen-
ter.
Installation and removal of the
sanding sheet (Fig. 2, Fig. 3)
– Remove the sanding sheet from the
slots in the base plate and release the
right and left clamping levers of the
sanding sheet (Fig. 2).
– Place the sheet onto the base plate.
If the sheet has perforations, align the
holes on the sheet with the holes on the
base plate (Fig. 3).
– Insert one edge of the sheet under the
clamp and secure it with the corre-
sponding lever.
– Insert the other edge of the sheet,
straighten it, and secure it with the oth-
er lever.
– Ensure the sanding sheet is properly
and securely installed.
– To install a hook-and-loop abrasive
sheet:

– Unplug the power cord from the elec-
trical outlet.
– Place the sheet onto the base plate.
If the sheet has perforations, align the
holes on the sheet with the holes on the
base plate (Fig. 3).
– Press the entire surface of the sheet
evenly to secure it with the hook-and-
loop fastening.
– Ensure the sheet is properly and se-
curely installed.
Installing, removing, and cleaning
the dust bag
To install the dust bag, attach it to the
dust outlet of the power tool and secure
the bag by slightly twisting it clockwise.
The installed dust bag (4) is shown in Fig. 1.
To remove the bag, twist it counterclock-
wise and empty the collected dust. Reg-
ularly empty the dust bag to ensure opti-
mal performance of dust collection.
9. WORKING WITH THE POWER
TOOL
Power On/Off
To turn on the power tool, move the pow-
er switch to the "I" position. To turn off
the power tool, move the power switch
to the "0" position. Always turn on the
power tool before it touches the work-
piece. Before turning off the power tool,
always move it away from the workpiece.
Before placing down the power tool,
make sure it is turned off and has stopped
operating.
Speed Control (Fig. 4)
The speed control is used to adjust the
desired vibration frequency, depending
on the materials being processed. During
operation with the grinding machine, you
can smoothly adjust the spindle speed
(frequency of oscillations). The spindle
speed can be set by rotating the speed
control.
During
prolonged
speeds, it is necessary to cool down the
power tool for 3 minutes. To do this, set
the maximum speed and wait without ap-
plying any load to the power tool.
