g) Switching on the Speed Controller

Let go of the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter and let
it move to neutral position.
Switch on the speed controller by moving the slider (see
arrow in the figure on the right) into the "ON" position.
Then wait for a few seconds (leave the throttle/brake lever
on the transmitter in the neutral position; do not move it)
until the speed controller has completed its self-test.
The motor emits the corresponding sound signals for the
self-test. These are generated by a short start-up of the
motor.
• One or two brief sound signals, then three long sound signals: The neutral position at the transmitter has been
recognised; the vehicle is ready for operation.
• One or two brief sound signals, just no long sound signals: The neutral position at the transmitter has not been
recognised; the vehicle is not ready for operation.
Release the throttle/brake so that it is in the neutral position. Put the trimming for the driving function at the
transmitter into the centre position. Then switch off the speed controller and switch if on again after a few
seconds.
Now check the drive and steering functions of the vehicle.
Before driving the vehicle, always observe chapter 10.

h) Attaching and Fastening the Car Body

Now put the car body on the holders and fasten the vehicle panelling with the safety clips removed at the start.
