1. Rear castors
• Place device on a platform with the rear castors
over the edge so they are free to remove
• Remove brake pedal. See "Brake pedal"
• Push down to activate the brake pedal
• Remove the hexagon shaft (1)
• Support castor (2) (castor will fall out) and unscrew
both bolts (3) (use TX30)
• Insert the hexagon shaft into the castor and activate
the brake (use 11mm wrench)
• Insert new castor into the base. Yellow Label (4) on
castor shaft must be on the left
• Install the two new bolts
• Install the hexagon shaft (brake must be activated
when doing this)
• Install the brake pedal
• Check that the brake works. Must be able to be
activated/deactivated from both brake pedals and
verify that both castors lock
2. Front castors
• Place device on a platform with the front castors
over the edge so they are free to remove
• Remove bolt (1) (use hex 8)
• Castor (2) is free to remove
• Install new castor w. new bolt
3. Brake pedal
• Unscrew screw (1) (use TX20)
• Pull hard back on brake pedal (2) to remove
• Slide new brake pedal into place
• Install new screw
• Check that the brakes works
4. Leg adjustment covers – LH/RH
• Turn castor as shown and move legs to outmost
position to access bolts (1)
• Unscrew the 2 bolts
• Remove cover (2)
• Install new cover w. 2 new bolts
5. Footplate
• Activate brakes on device
• Pull the device back and lay it on the handle so that
the bottom of the lifter is free
• Flip out all 8 front hooks on the footplate. Start from
front to back. Footplate will be free to remove
• Install new/cleaned footplate by placing rear hooks
in position and rotate footplate into position. Press
footplate into position
• Check that the rear hooks are correctly placed (no
gap under the footplate at the rear)
6. Leg support
• Unscrew the 4 bolts (1) (use TX20)
• Remove leg support (2)
• Install new leg support. Note: Cutout in leg support
must face down as shown
• Install new bolts

7. Seat pad – Same procedure LH/RH
• Remove red cover (1) (use small screwdriver)
• Unscrew the 4 nuts (2) (use 10mm socket)
• Remove the washer under nuts (3)
• Pull out seat pad (5)
• Remove the two bushings (4)
• Install two new bushings into the frame
• Install seat pad into the bushings. Note: Bushings
must stay in place during installing seat pad, and
the slot in the seat pad must align with the stop pin
• Install new washer and 4 new nuts
• Check that the seat pad rotates freely from stop to
stop
• Install new red cover
