Please observe the following safety instructions:
• The distybase fulfils the legal requirements for telecommunications
devices.
• You are permitted to fit it yourself.
• The housing must not be opened. Unauthorised opening of the housing
and improper repairs may endanger the user and will invalidate the
warranty.
• Only equipment supplying safety extra-low voltage (SELV) and/or
conforming to ETS 300 047 should be connected to the distybase.
Equipment operated in accordance with its purpose complies with this
regulation.
• Do not allow fluids to penetrate the distybase as this could result in
short circuits or electric shocks.
• The distybase must not be installed during a thunderstorm, nor should
any cables be plugged in or unplugged.
• The aerial cable must not be earthed or connected to lightning
protection devices.
• The distybase is designed for indoor operation only.
• The device is designed for wall mounting and is not suitable for use as
a tabletop device.
• Lay the cable so that it cannot be walked on or tripped over.
• Please observe local regulations for the installation of aerials.
• In the event of a power failure, all the data in the memory is retained
without changes.
• You cannot telephone during a power failure.
