Assembly instructions
A
Mount the protective housing at a location where it is
not exposed to direct solar radiation.
Use the four outer mounting holes
mounting the protective housing. Mark the four
necessary drilling holes using the case bottom (6 mm
drill, 6 mm dowel).
Fix the protective housing using the four screws and
dowels (included in the delivery) in the protected
outdoor.
Guide the network cable through the included high-
strength cable gland and seal the duct by screwing it
tightly to protect it against intruding humidity.

Do not break any further recesses out of the housing
to keep assured the weather protection.
Put the COMfortel DECT IP1040 Base to the
protruding two screws on the mounting plate at the
inside of the protective housing.
Put the cover plate on the protective housing and lock
it using the six plastic screws included in the delivery.
Ensure a flush and tight mounting of the cover plate to
guard the housing from intruding.
Ensure a sufficient lightning protection of the
COMfortel DECT IP1040 Base inside of the
housing.
