Indications for Use
The Stryker SERFAS Energy System is indicated for the resection, ablation, and
coagulation of soft tissue and hemostasis of blood vessels in patients undergoing
arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow, hip and wrist.
Contraindications
The Stryker SERFAS Energy System is contraindicated for any non-arthroscopic
procedure or in procedures where a non-conductive irrigant is used. The Stryker
SERFAS Energy System is also contraindicated against use with patients for
whom an arthroscopic procedure is contraindicated for any reason, and for use
with patients having cardiac pacemakers or other electronic implants.
