Measuring the Output Voltage
of the SERFAS Energy
Generator
Below is the procedure to measure the power output of the presets on the SERFAS
Energy Generator.
Equipment
• Electrosurgical analyzer (such as the Fluke Model 454A tester or Fluke
QA-ES Series II tester)
• 2 test leads with banana clips
• SERFAS Energy Generator
• SERFAS Energy Probe
• SERFAS Energy Footswitch
Setup
1. Connect the electrosurgical analyzer to the power source.
2. Plug the two test leads in to the Active and Dispersive/Return input
ports of the electrosurgical analyzer as shown in in the following picture.
(Refer to the electrosurgical analyzer user guide for location of Active and
Dispersive/Return input ports.)

3. Connect the SERFAS Energy Generator to the power source.
