Setting Up the Probe
Warning Before each use examine all accessories and connections.
Ensure that the accessories function as intended. Improper
connection may result in arcing or malfunction of the Probe or
Generator which can result in an unintended surgical effect,
injury, or product damage.
Warning Be sure that no liquid is present between connections to the RF
Generator or Probe. Connection of wet accessories may lead to
electric shock or electrical short.

Connect the probe connector on the probe cable to the gray probe
receptacle on the front panel of the SERFAS Energy Generator (See
Figure 4).

The Probe indicator, on the front panel, will illuminate following proper
connection.
Warning Improper connection may lead to arcing, sparking or
malfunction of the unit, which can result in injury to the
patient, user, and/or damage to the system.

If probe is a suction style probe, connect vacuum hose to the suction
adapter to utilize the suction feature.
Note
To unplug the Probe from the Generator, grasp the knobbed
portion of the connector and pull straight out.
