Installation On the Wheelchair, continued
To install:
3. Attach the Direct Mount Hardware to the wheelchair:
a. Hold the AGILITY firmly and securely and fit the four keyholes of the
Direct Mount Hardware over the four pins on the wheelchair.
b. Then slide the AGILITY straight down until it is securely attached.
IMPORTANT! All four keyholes MUST engage with all four pins.
4. Secure the Direct Mount Hardware and adjust the height of AGILITY:
a. Place the cap screw in the opening, and tighten until snug + one-
quarter turn. After all pins are engaged with all four keyholes, the cap
screw will keep the Direct Mount Hardware attached to the wheelchair.
The opening for the cap screw is located beneath the lower front of the
cover.
Note: If you are not able to access the cap screw,
install only the Direct Mount Hardware (without the
AGILITY) on the wheelchair and secure it with the
cap screw. Then install the AGILITY on the Direct
Mount Hardware.
Warning: Tightening the cap screw does NOT necessarily mean
that the Direct Mount Hardware is securely installed. The cap screw
can be tightened while the pins are NOT fully engaged in the keyholes.
After tightening the cap screw, test for a secure installation by pushing
forward on the AGILITY (toward the front of the wheelchair).
b. IMPORTANT! Test to Make Sure the Direct Mount Hardware is
Securely Installed: Push forward on the AGILITY (toward the front
of the wheelchair). It should NOT move forward if all four pins are
engaged with all four keyholes. If it moves, repeat the installation
instructions on this page and then test again.
Warning: If the Direct Mount Hardware is not securely attached
to the wheelchair, the product is NOT safe to use.
c. IMPORTANT! Adjust the height of AGILITY to fit the individual: To
ensure a correct fit for the individual, adjust the height. Refer to the
height adjustment instructions and safety information on the next page.
