with the top edge of the kneecap (Fig.
9). Make sure that the brace is not
twisted on your leg.
• First fasten the lower front strap #1
(Fig. 4), then the upper rear thigh strap
#2 (Fig. 5). Position the two joints close
to your joint towards the front of the
leg (Fig. 6).
• Now fasten the lower rear thigh strap
#3 (Fig. 7). Pull the joints slightly
forward again. Make sure that you do
not pull the joints in front of the
midline of the leg.
• Now fasten the upper front calf strap
#4 (Fig. 8), then the upper back calf
strap #5 (Fig. 9 + 12), and finally the
front thigh strap #6 (Fig. 10).
Care instructions
The brace cannot be worn in saltwater.
If the brace is worn in chlorinated water,
it should be rinsed out thoroughly with
clean water afterwards. The pads are
water-repellent; nevertheless, they
should be wiped off and dried briefly
after you take a shower – the same
applies to the straps. Soap residues,
lotions and ointments can cause skin
irritation and material wear.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
With normal use, the hinge mechanism
should not require any maintenance, but
it can be lubricated with PTFE-spray.
Check regularly that the joint screws are
secure, tighten them if necessary.
    
Storage instructions
Keep the brace in a dry place and do not
expose to direct sunlight.
