General Description
The EK 1010 is a batlery powered miniature receiver tor the fte-
quency range ol 30 45 MHz (wireless microphone systems, tour
guide systems, intercom systems) The following receiver models
are available:
EK 1010 wideband modulation 3 standard "Mikroporl'
frequencies
36 7 /37.1 / 37 9 MHz
EK 1010-R wideband modulation 3 receiving channels,
alternative frequencies:
30. 45 MHz. max spacing
1.5 MHz between channel 1
and channel 3
EK 1010-6 narrow band modulation 1 fixed frequency in the range
of 30.. 45 MHz
While the standard wideband version EK 1010 and the narrow band
verson EK 1010-6 are licenced for general use according to the
German postal regulations, the EK 1010-R is reserved for the
German broadcasting stations Outside the Fedoral Republic of
Germany the types and frequency ranges have to be chosen accord¬
ing to the regulations ol the individual postal authorities.
In connecton with a ''Mikroporl" transmitter the receiver EK 1010
forms a wireless transmission system of high quality The units have
been tested and licenced by the Gorman Central Telecommunication
Board (FTZ) and by equivalent authorities ol other countries. The
purchaser, however, is responsible for obtaining a licence to operate
the equipment according to the regulations. The attached form may be
used for an application in the Federal Replublic of Germany. In other
cases special regulations are valid for different countries The above
mentioned standard frequencies are reserved tor private use in the
Federal Republic of Germany Customers and users outside
Germany may order the receiver with three alternative frequencies
in the range of 30 45 MHz. The spacing between the highest
and lowest frequency must not exceed 1.5 MHz.
The receiver is powered from a standard 9 V-battery (IEC 6 F 22) or
from a rechargeable mckei-cadmium accumulator. The NC-accu may
be charged with the automatic charging unit SZL 1010 Charging
contacts are provided on the side of the receiver. The miniature
receiver has the size of a conventional microphone and can be used
either as a receiver with a neck cord or - invisible - as a pocket
receiver. The receiver ist delivered with a neck cord and a listening
set consisting of stethoclip HZS 1 -1. earphone HM 35 and
connecting cable HZL 18-30.
