CAUTIONS
Please observe the following cautions in order to obtain
maximum performance from this tape deck.
1) Soiled heads can noticeably impair sound quality. Always
keep the heads clean.
2) When storing recorded cassettes, do not place them near .
magnets, motors, TV sets, or other magnetic field generating
sources. These can cause noise or partial erasure of the tape.
Avoid locating this set (or cassette tapes) in direct sunlight,
near radiators, heaters, on top of amplifiers or in the vicinity
of other sources of heat.
4) Do not use or store this tape deck (and tapes) in extremely
cold surroundings. Full performance and operation can be
impaired. Rated operating ambient temperature range of this
set is 0°C ~ +35°C (about 32 > 100°F).
5) If tape is slack, it can jam in the pinch roller and be damaged.
As shown below, use a pencil or similar tool to remove slack
before using the cassette.
