CONNECTIONS
Turntable
Stereo Amplifier
LINE OUT Jacks
For tape playback. Use stereo pin plug cords and connect to the
TAPE PLAY
(or LINE IN, AUX
IN) jacks of a stereo amplifier.
LINE
IN Jacks
For
tape recording.
Use stereo pin plug cords and connect
to
TAPE
REC
(or LINE
OUT)
jacks of program
source
(tuner,
stereo amplifier, a second tape deck, etc.) to be recorded.
DIN (REC/PLAY) Jack
A DIN plug equipped component
(stereo amplifier, etc.) can be
connected
to
these
jacks.
This
allows
both
recording
and
playback connections to be performed with a single cord.
DIN OUTPUT
LEVEL change-over switch
When setting the DIN
OUTPUT
LEVEL
change-over switch to
FIXED,
the DIN output
is fixed independent of the setting of
the output level control. On setting to VARIABLE, the output
level can be adjusted with the output level control.
Note:
*
When DIN and MIC jacks are connected simultaneously, the
MIC jacks possess priority.
*
Oscillation can be caused if LINE OUT/PLAY
and DIN jacks
are simultaneously connected to the same amplifier. Use only
one or the other of these connecting methods.
RIGHT CHANNEL
MIC Jacks
Microphones with impedances of between 200 ohms—10 k ohms
can be used, although 200—600 ohms types are most compati-
ble.
When
employing
two
microphones
for stereo
recording,
undirectional types are recommended
for better channel separa-
tion.
PHONES Jack
Stereo
headphones
can
be connected
to this jack.
8 ohm
dynamic type headphones are recommended.
