of adjusting the shield
base in case the shield//visor is
not touching the window beading
closely enough, or does not close
properly
after replacement
of a
shield/visor or shield bases.
Check Point A: Is the top inside
edge of the shield /visor touching
the window beading snugly;

inside edge of the shield visor

the lip of the window
beading snugly;

l'écran
de
la maniére
suivante
dans
le cas où l'écran
ne touche pas suffisamment le joint oü dans le cas oü l'écran ne ferme pas correctement aprés
avoir été remplacé oü aprés remplacement du kit de fixation.
Point de contróle A: il faut vérifier que la partie supérieure de l'écran touche correctement le joint
Point de contróle B: Ajustez jusqu'au point oü cette partie soit posée entiérement sur la lévre du
joint de l'écran.

Q Remove a shield Aisor from a
helmet.
Then,
remove
the
4
screws (2 either side).
O Enlevez
l'écran du casque.
Puis
enlevez
les
4
vis
(2 de
chaque cóté).
Right/Droit
Left/Gauche
OFaites la méme chose pour l'autre côté.
OTighten a screw in the aligning
hole situated on the lower portion
of the shield base, after centering
the screw hole on the shield base.
OTighten
the second
screw
in
the aligning situated on the upper
portion
of a shield
base
after
once again centering the screw
hole on the shield base.
ORepeat
the
process
for the
opposite shield base.
@Centrez
la vis inférieure
et
serrez-la.
O Puis, centrez la vis supérieure
et serrez-là.
Min case a gap still remains between the shield visor and the
beading after the above procedure has been carried out
E Dans le cas où l'espace reste présente une fois l'écran remis.

GLoosen
a right upper
screw
only with a lower screw remaining
tightened. Then, rotate the upper
portion
of
the
shield
base
backwards
slightly and re-tighten
the screw.
Re-fit the visor. This
should resolve the problem.
Olf a slight gap still remains after
carrying
out
this
procedure,
repeat once more.
Note. If the shield base is rotated
excessively, the ratchet and gear
mechanism
may
not mesh
with
each other.
Qin the rare event of a gap still
being
present
even
after the
above has been carried out, remove visor and re-centre the shield bases to the original position,
tighten the screws. Then on the left shield base slightly loosen the screws once more and pull the
base forward slightly* re-tighten the screws and repeat operation O for the right hand shield base"
Re-fit visor.
*Do not rotate the shield base. Move it in parallel.
6 Devisez seulement la vis dans la partie supérieure droite. Déplacez la platine droite un peu vers
l'avant, puis serrez la vis de nouveau.
Vérifiez que l'espace ait bien disparue une fois l'écran remis.
QSi l'écart n'a pas
disparu,
refaites point O.
Si la partie supérieure
du kit a été déplacée
excessivement, le cran n'est peut-étre pas correctement placé dans l'engrenage.
Q9 Si l'écart n'a toujours pas
disparu,
méme
aprés point O, recentrez
les vis côté droit puis
desserrez celles du cóté gauche et déplacez la platine gauche en avant.
Resserrez les vis. Puis répétez point O pour le cóté droit.
