Protect the battery against heat and
fire.
Do not immerse the battery in liquids.
4.2 Intended Use
The STIHL KGA 770.0 push sweeper is
designed for sweeping road dust, leaves, grass,
paper or similar materials from flat and hard sur‐
faces.
The STIHL KGA 770.0 push sweeper is not
intended for sweeping:
– liquids, acids or solvents
– explosive dust or dust contaminated by patho‐
gens and mold
– glowing particles, hot ash, lit cigarettes or simi‐
lar materials
Do not use the push sweeper in the rain or in wet
or very damp environments. Do not leave the
push sweeper outdoors in the rain.
The push sweeper may be used with or without
motor assistance.
The push sweeper is suitable for commercial
use.
The push sweeper is powered by a STIHL AP
battery and may only be used with a STIHL AP
battery inserted directly in the push sweeper.
Combined with the STIHL connected app, the
battery with allows the personalization and
transmission of information to the battery using
®
Bluetooth technology.
WARNING
■ Batteries not approved by STIHL for the push
sweeper can cause fires and explosions. Per‐
sons may be seriously or fatally injured, and
property may be damaged.
► Operate the push sweeper with a STIHL AP
battery.
■ Using the push sweeper or battery other than
for its intended use can result in serious inju‐
ries or death and damage to property.
► Use the push sweeper as described in this
user manual.
► Use the battery as described in this user
manual, the STIHL connected app and at
https://connect.stihl.com/.

4.3 Requirements for users
WARNING
■ Users who have not received instruction are
not aware of and cannot assess the dangers
of the push sweeper and the battery. The user
or other persons may sustain serious or fatal
injuries.
► Read and understand the User Man‐
ual and keep it in a safe place for
reference.
► If the push sweeper or battery is passed on
to another person: Always give them the
user manual.
► Make sure that the user meets the following
conditions:
– The user is rested.
– This machine and the bat‐
tery must not be used by
persons (including chil‐
dren) with impaired physi‐
cal, sensory or mental
abilities or lack of experi‐
ence and know-how.
– The user can recognize and assess the
hazards of the push sweeper and bat‐
tery.
– The user is an adult or is
being trained in an occu‐
pation under supervision
according to national regu‐
lations.
– The user has received
instruction from a STIHL
dealer or other expert
before operating the high-
pressure washer for the
first time.
– The user is not under the influence of
alcohol, medication or drugs.
