7) Video Search Adjustment
1. Play a wide
hub-reel
tape
with
a color
bar
recording.
2. Set the volume of R7715 to near the center.
3. Set to the VIDEO SEARCH FF mode, and adjust
R726 such that the color shift in the image on

the monitor disappears.
4. Set to the VIDEO SEARCH
REV mode, and ad-
just R728 as in (3).
5. Select VS-FWD
mode.
Adjust R7715 so that 4 noise bars appear on the
monitor
TV. Noise
bars should
be nearly sta-
tionary.

8) FV Adjustment
1. Select still play mode.
2. Monitor TP8 with an oscilloscope (external trig-
ger at TP7).
3. Selecting (—) sync slope with the oscilloscope,
adjust R751
to meet the requirement given in
Figure 41.
