Possible cause
—- Main switch not pressed.
-— Plug not inserted in socket.
- Fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped in house.
- Door of appliances not securely closed.
— Programme interruption button is pressed.
— Water tap not turned on.
~ Filter in water inlet hose is clogged.
— Strainer is clogged.
_ _ (check the combined coarse/fine strainer Fig. €2/33.)
ie Programme sequence not yet over.
- Remove spray-arm and clean.
— Clean also spray-arm's bearing.
- Too little rinse-aid.
- No regenerating salt in the water softening unit.
(Salt-refill indicator light Fig. €#/8, is on).
Adjust water hardness regulator ( Fig. @1/13 and €3/23)
to a higher setting.
— The lid of the regenerating salt container is not
properly closed.
' = Too much rinse-aid.
- Too little rinse-aid.
- Utensils not properly arranged.
- Incorrect dosage of detergent or rinse-aid.
— Programme selector turned accidentally after filling
detergent container — This releases detergent .
at a too early stage.
— Utensils incorrectly arranged or basket overloaded.
— Spray-arm rotation obstructed by utensils.
— Combined coarse/fine strainer is clogged (Fig. £3/33).
~ Microfilter. (Fig. 2/34) is clogged.
If necessary, remove and clean. When re-inserting micro-
filter make sure that it clicks securely back into place.
+ Strainer's rim not properly fitted into depression.
- Nozzles in spray-arm are blocked. _ _
— Selected programme not intensive enough for level
of soiling.
~ The lid of the salt container was closed too abruptly
(open again and reclose gently)
