2.8 Tap installation
Pressurised connection
f screw T-piece on angle valve f
f screw cold water connection on to T-piece f
f screw connection hose (13) on to the T-piece f
f screw the free end of connection hose (13) on to the cold f
water inlet of the DHM, while doing this, you must hold the
connection piece of the unit in position with a 14 mm spanner
to avoid any damage
f screw the warm-water-pipe of the tap-fitting on to the units f
warm water outlet fitting, while doing this, you must hold
the connection piece of the unit in position with a 14 mm
spanner.
Unpressurised connection
f Fit the DHW tap connection onto the DHW connection of the f
DHM.
f For this, counterhold the fitting on the appliance with a f
SW 14 spanner.
2.9 Electrical connection

The unit must be connected to the protective
earth terminal.

In the delivered condition, these appliances are
equipped with a power cable (DHM 3 with plug).
Connection to a permanent power supply is
possible, provided the fixed cable has a cross-
section that is at least equal to that of the stand-
ard power cable of the appliance. A maximum
cross-section of 3 x 6 mm² may be used.
2.10 First start-up

Fill and deaerate the unit.
Note: danger of running dry!
Open and close the tap repeatedly until the pipework and
the unit are free of air. For guidance on air, see „ Important
information".

Switch on the mains power.

Test the operating mode of the instantaneous water heater
and armature.
