The lanyard can be used in combination with a bypass to climb
wooden poles.
Also ensure that all carabiners (EN 362) are firmly locked (3.4, 3.5).
PLEASE NOTE: An EN 361 certified body harness must be used in all
cases when working in areas where there is a risk of falling. Even if
you are working with a restraint system, we recommend that you
wear a body harness with integrated work positioning belt and do
not use simple work positioning belts as per EN 358. The lanyards
are to be kept taut during use by sliding the length adjustment device.
Slack rope must be prevented. The anchor point must always be at or
above the height of the harness so that the lanyard is always under
tension and a possible fall will be as short as possible.
3.) Inspect before use (3.1–3.5)
3.1) Carry out a visual inspection of the product. If there are any
doubts about the safety condition, remove the product from service
immediately.
3.2) Pay attention to thin areas and/or fraying material. If possible,
the product must be replaced/disposed of immediately.
3.3) In the event of serious damage to one or more components,
the product must be replaced/disposed of.
3.4-3.5) Make sure the carabiners lock properly and securely.
PLEASE NOTE: The user's safety depends on the effectiveness
and durability of all equipment. Any repair of damaged and/
or defective components is prohibited!
