If not available, then the vendor has to resolve this matter with the
distributor prior to sale. The manual must be made available to the
user. Before use, it must be read and understood.
Depending on the marking, this product can be used as „Guided
type fall arrester on a flexible anchor line EN 353-2" (1.3) or as
„Lanyard for work positioning / for restraint EN 358" (1.1 - 1.2).
Observe the relevant section in this manual.
The systems must only be used by persons trained in their use and
who are also physically and mentally able to do so. An effective
rescue plan must always be available.
The components of the complete system must not be used individually
or replaced with other, possibly uncertified products. Only ever use
the system as intended.
The guided type fall arrester (EN 353-2) must always be attached to
the fall arrest attachment point marked 'A' on the safety harness (EN
361) (2.1–2.3).
Lanyards (EN 358) can be used for restraint or for work positioning.
When using, pay particular attention to sharp edges, the cable guide
and anything else which could damage the rope or the guided type
fall arrester (2.6).
Ensure all carabiners are fully locked (3.4 + 3.5).
Service life depends on frequency of use and environmental
conditions.
