System messages

What are system messages

System messages are information indicating the status of the machine. Some messages require active intervention by
the operating staff, such as the prompts to top up or empty containers.

Handling system messages

If the coffee machine display indicates that the machine is heating up, wait a short while until the corresponding ele-
ment has reached the necessary operating temperature.
In the case of all other messages, follow the instructions and the machine will quickly be ready for use again.
General system messages
Machine heating up
If the water in the boiler is still cold when the machine is
switched on, this message will be displayed until the ope-
rating temperature is reached.
Cold start rinse needed
If the coffee boiler is hot and the service technician has
activated cold start rinsing, this message will appear.
Pressing the OK button will start the rinsing process.
Tea module heating up
If the water in the coffee boiler is hot, then depending
on the power management and basic settings, the tea /
steam boiler heating phase will start. If the tea key is ac-
tivated during this process, this message will appear.
Coffee grounds drawer full
The coffee grounds are monitored. Once the level set
by the technician is reached, the message COFFEE
GROUNDS DRAWER FULL will appear.
Coffee grounds drawer out
The coffee grounds drawer is out. Put it back in. The
message will disappear automatically once the coffee
grounds drawer has been reinserted.
Coffee grounds drawer removed
After you replace the coffee grounds drawer, you must
confirm whether the drawer has been emptied. Confirm
this message with the YES button and the machine is
ready for use again.
Bean hopper X is empty
The coffee machine detects when the bean hopper is
empty, and indicates this. Coffee products are not blo-
cked in this case. The message will disappear as soon as
the coffee beans have been topped up.
