Getting started

Switching-on and heating-up the machine

1. Plug the machine in to the mains. To do this, the coffee grounds
drawer must first be removed (Fig. 1).
2. The display will show the message MACHINE HEATING UP .
3. The coffee machine is heating-up. No products can be dispensed
yet.
4. Products can be dispensed as soon as the product overview
(main menu) appears.
Depending on the configuration during the launch additional mes-
sages are inserted.
• If the message PLEASE RINSE MACHINE appears, press the
CLEANING KEY and the automatic rinsing begins. After success-
ful cleaning, the machine will return to operational mode and the
display will show READY CS.
• If the message TEA MODULE IS HEATING UP! appears, the tea/
steam boiler has not yet reached its operating temperature. Water
for tea and milk/mixed products cannot be served.
