Battery on the CPU Module
1.1.1
General
The battery on the CPU board buffers the BIOS data and the real-time clock. It has a nominal
capacity of 950mAh. With a typical discharge rate of 25
minimum buffer time amounts to approx. four years. With a maximum discharge rate of 100
the minimum buffer time amounts to approx. one year.
1.1.2
Replacing the Battery
For replacing the battery you need:
a battery of the type: Renata CR2477N, 3 V/950 mAh
an ESD-protected work area (conductive, grounded mat, ESD wrist strap or similar protective
equipment, cotton clothing)
1 flattip screwdriver 0.6 mm * 4 mm
1 crosstip screwdriver PZ size 1
1 pair of plastic tweezers
Note
Make sure that all cables are disconnected from the device.
