5.1 Before operating the pump check that power supply (voltage, frequency, etc.)
equates to the specifications on the typeplate (see also chap. 2).
Pump must be connected to an accurate power socket only.
Also comply with local installation regulations. We recommend to operate the
pump with a residual-current-operated protective device (RCD) only.
5.2 Connect output hose and submerge the pump.
Pump must be lowered or lifted by a mooring rope or equivalent
only. Never lower the pump by the power connection cable!
5.3 Connect the power plug to the power socket and switch on the pump.
The power supply connection must be within a flood-protected
area. The power plug must be protected from wetness.
There is no need to check the rotating direction as the pump is equipped with
an automatic rotation direction system.
