Proceed in the following order.
@In mono playback, set the amplifier mode selector to MONO and
reduce the unused left or right channel volume control.

1, Record the basic program on the track 1 of the left channel
ac-
cording to "MONO
RECORDING AND PLAYBACK"
and rewind the
tape to the beginning.
2. Connect the L LINE
OUT jack and R LINE IN jack by using the
supplied connecting cord.
3. Connect a microphone into the R MIC jack.
4. Connect stereo headphones for monitoring.
5. Set the L MONITOR selector to TAPE and the R MONITOR selec-
tor to SOURCE.
Set the PB LEVEL controls to the center position.
