BASIC OPERATION
PD-M450
Operations indicated by the [ i ] mark are performed with the
remote control unit (PD-M550 only).
1 Turn on the power to the player.
2 Insert a magazine, pushing it in until a click sound is
heard.
e@ Insert the discs to be played into the magazine beforehand.
(Refer to "BEFORE OPERATING THE PLAYER")
e@ When
the power
is turned
off, inserting
a magazine
automatically turns on the power
(Automatic
Power
On
function).
3 Press > to start playback.
To pause playback temporarily:
Press tl. The Wl indicator lights and playback is paused at that point.
Pressing #1 again or m resumes playback from the position where
pause mode was entered.
To stop playback:
Press @. The player returns to the beginning of the first track on
the disc at which playback was stopped.
If m is pressed twice, the
player returns to the beginning of the first track on the first disc
and enters stop mode.
NOTE:
When the power is turned off while a magazine is in the player, the
player memorizes which disc was played just before the power was
turned off. Thus, when the power is next turned on, pressing the play
button starts playback from the first track on the memorized disc.
To stop playback and take out the magazine
Press EJECT, remove the magazine, and then press POWER
to
turn off the power.
Even when the power is turned off, the magazine will be ejected
by pressing EJECT (Power Down Eject function).
NOTE:
Demo mode allows you to see variation of the display. To enter the
demo mode, press POWER and then Ket within 1 second without
inserting the magazine.
To exit demo mode, insert the magazine or

Quand |'alimentation est coupée, insérer un magasin fournit
automatiquement|'alimentation. (Fonction de mise en marche
automatique)
3 Presser >» pour commencer la lecture.
Pour arréter momentanément la lecture:
Presser 8.
L'indicateur #1 s'allume et la lecture est arrétée a ce
point.
Une nouvelle pression sur if Ou sur & fait reprendre la lecture a
partir du point ot le mode de pause a été engagé.
Pour arréter la lecture:
Presser @. Le lecteur retourne au début de la premiére piste sur le
disque au cours duquel la lecture a été arrétée.
Si m est pressée
deux fois, le lecteur retourne au début de la premiére
piste du
premier disque et entre en mode d'arrét.
REMARQUE:
Quand I'alimentation est coupée avec un magasin chargeur dans le
lecteur, celui-ci mémorise le disque qui a été lu juste avant que
Valimentation ne soit coupée. Par conséquent, quand Ialimentation
estredonnée, une pression sur la touche PLAY fait démarrer la lecture
depuis la premiére piste du disque mémorisé.
Pour arréter la lecture et retirer le magasin
chargeur
Presser EJECT, retirer le magasin chargeur puis presser POVVER pour
couper I'alimentation.
Méme quand l'alimentation est coupée, le magasin chargeur sera
éjecté en pressant la touche EJECT (Fonction d'éjection alimentation
coupée).
. REMARQUE:
Le mode de démonstration vous permet de voir la variation de
l'affichage. Pour entrer en mode de démonstration, presser POWER
puis Ké<@ en moins d'une seconde sans insérer de magasin. Pour sortir
du mode de démonstration, insérer le magasin ou presser une des
touches.
