WARRANTY
This jack is covered by a 12-month warranty starting from the date the warranty comes into effect or from the date the
jack leaves our factory if it has not already been rendered effective on-line; it covers all manufacturing defects but not
transport expenses, defects caused by improper use or damages suffered during transport. For more details please see
the card attached to this manual.
MAINTENANCE JOBS FOR THE END USER
- To ensure your jack a long life it is advisable to clean the pistons externally once a fortnight.
- Check the level of oil in the tank at least twice a year: this must be done with the pistons completely
lowered. The oil level must be up to the small bolt that is at the front of the left tank and at the front of the right tank,
you can check by unscrewing one of the two bolts. If you have to top up the oil in the tank make certain the oil you are
using is compatible with what is already inside the tank so as not to compromise machine integrity. DWG. 6
AIR BLEEDING
Each time the jack is serviced, removing and refitting parts connected to the tank and motorpump, it is advisable to bleed
off all air. Bleeding phases:
1. Check the oil with the piston completely lowered.
2. Move the piston out completely with the quick lifting function.
3. Loosen (NEVER unscrew the dowel completely!) dowel no. 0107 which is on the top of the second piston, the widest,
and let all the air out from the dowel, continuing until oil starts coming out and then close the dowel. DWG. 6
4. Move the piston back in completely and check oil level.
5. Try to operate the jack without any load and if the piston lowers in jerks repeat the procedure at least 2 or 3 times.
MAINTENANCE RESERVED TO A PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED
ENGINEER
Having to carry out maintenance or overhauling, use exclusively genuine spare parts to ensure the utmost reliability for
the jack.
Before any maintenance operation on the jack, remove the cover (2369) by loosening the screws 2420. Now all the parts
of the jack can be easily reached. For quicker maintenance of the motorpump 2261 and hydraulic block 1152 they can
both be detached from the jack without having to remove the oil from the pistons - even if they are raised - or from the
tank. To do this, proceed as follows: move the taps 2307 that are used to exclude the cylinder; disconnect the various air
pipes and lastly remove the fixing screws 1160. The units 2261, 1152 and 2260 can now be serviced. With this operation,
and if the motorpump is malfunctioning, it is possible to move only the faulty parts without having to move the whole
jacking structure as well which would be too costly.
Once repairs have been done, repeat the instructions given above in the reverse order, not forgetting to put the two
taps 2307 in the vertical position. At the end of this it might be necessary to carry out the bleeding operation.
PROBLEMS
Solutions
THE MOTOR DOES NOT START
A) Check that the air supply line is not choked, and that the manometer 2270 placed on the control console detects at
least 8,5 bar. B) If possible, supply the jack with the greatest possible pressure (max 15 bar) and try switching the motor
on a few times. It could happen, in fact, that after a long period of inactivity, the seal 0757 tends to stick to the head 1100
THE MOTOR RUNS BADLY
A) The seals (1101) are worn, replace them! B) The seals (1101) on the piston (1102) slide with difficulty: both the
cylinder and piston must be removed and lubricated. C) Seal 0762 is damaged and needs to be replaced.
