Manual Operation with Cueing Device
Frequently
it is desired
to play a specific
band
of a record.
This can be very simply accomplished
with the Cueing
Device
(Fig. 1—19). When the Cueing Lever is moved forward (posi-
tion Y), the tone arm is lifted, allowing one to move the arm
by hand to the desired position so that the stylus is directly
over the band
to be played. Moving
the lever back will lower
the stylus very slowiy and gently onto the record
(position Y).
By moving
the
cueing
lever forward
the
arm
may
be
|ifted
off the record
at any time and
held at that point, placed
on
another groove of the record or returned to the rest without
disturbing the mechanism.
2.3
Record Changer Operation
2.3.1
Insert the Automatic Spindle SA 73 (Fig. 8—24) instead
of the
single-play
spindle
into
the
hollow
turntable
shaft
(Fig. 8—11).
Automatic
play is possible
for
a maximum
of
eight either 7" or 12" records after having chosen
the appro-
priate turntable speed of 45 or 33 rpm, respectively.
For automatic
play of 7" records with a large center hole, use
accessory automatic spindle SA-383 (Fig. 9).
2.3.2
Start
Depress the START
button (Fig. 1—21) and with the turning of
the platter the first record
will drop. The
arm
will Iift, swing
inwards and lower the stylus gently onto the lead-in groove
of the record.

relever le bras de pick-up et le maintenir ä ce point,
le poser sur un autre sillon du disque ou le ramener
sur son
support,
sans
entraver
en
rien
le bon
fonctionnement
de
l'appareil.

Fonctionnement en changeur
2.3.1
Inserer l'axe d'empilage SA 73 (Fig. 8—24) dans l'axe
creux
(Fig. 8—11)
du
plateau.
Les disques
de 17 ou
30 cm
peuvent &tre joues automatiquement
et ce jusqu' au maximum
de huit disques
et apres avoir choisi
la vitesse adequate
(45
ou 33 t/m).
