4.5.3 Measuring the Density of a Solid Using an Auxiliary Liquid other than Water

Press and hold the Function / Mode button until Density
appears. Press Yes to enter the Density Determination.
Item Settings:
Sample type: Solid
Auxiliary Liquid: Other
Porous Material: Off
Set the density of the auxiliary liquid:

The default value of the auxiliary liquid is 1.00000 g/cm
3.
Press No or Back to increase or decrease the value in
accordance with the actual density of the auxiliary liquid.

See Section 4.5.1 and Section 4.5.2 for the specific
procedures for density determination.
5.
Press the Function / Mode button to display the density of
the sample.
6.
After completion of the test, press the Function / Mode
button to test a new sample.
