The unit must be connected to the protective
earth terminal.

In the delivered condition, these appliances are
equipped with a power cable (DNM 3 with plug).
Connection to a permanent power supply is
possible, provided the fixed cable has a cross-
section that is at least equal to that of the standard
power cable of the appliance. A maximum cross-
section of 3 x 6 mm² may be used.

Fill and deaerate the unit.
Note: danger of running dry!
Open and close the tap repeatedly until the pipework and
the unit are free of air. For guidance on air, see „Important
information".

Switch on the mains power.

Test the operating mode of the instantaneous water heater
and armature.

f Explain the function of the unit to the user and familiarize f
him or her with its use.
f Draw the user's attention to possible hazards (scalding). f
f Hand over these instructions for careful retention. f
