Tips
Be careful when applying glue on thin or porous material.
The underlying surface can be damaged, or glue can stick to
the surface.
Do not press too hard on the trigger when applying, this can
damage the glue gun. Test on a scrap piece of material to
check that the glue has melted enough to flow without
applying too much pressure on the trigger.
If two pieces are to be glued together, apply glue to one of
the pieces and then press the piece without glue against the
piece with glue to join them together.
Do not press with your fingers on objects where hot glue has
just been applied. This can cause the glue to ooze out at the
edges or the surfaces to become hot, which can cause burns
and/or material damage.
To ensure proper adhesion and avoid the risk of burns, let
the glue dry completely before moving the workpiece.
Use pliers, tweezers, or similar tools to apply glue to small
objects, to avoid contact with the nozzle.
MAINTENANCE
Allow the glue gun to completely cool before maintenance
and putting it away. Remove the battery.
Do not use solvent on plastic parts, this can damage the
plastic. Remove any dirt, dust, oil or grease with a clean
cloth.
Remove dried glue from the nozzle to prevent drips and/or
blockage the next time the glue gun is used.
