3. The status light goes on when a charged battery is put in place
and the power switch is put in the switched on position (I).

REMOVING THE BATTERY

Press in the lock buttons to remove the battery.
INSERTING GLUE STICKS
Use standard glue sticks with a diameter 11.2 mm.
1. Put a glue stick in through the opening on the back of the
glue gun. Push the glue stick in all the way.
2. Place a piece of paper or cardboard under the glue gun to
catch any glue that drips while the glue gun heats up.

WARNING!
Always assume that the glue gun is hot when the status light
is on. This reduces the risk of burn injury, fire and/or serious
personal injury.
NOTE:
The heating time can vary, depending on the type of glue stick.
Always test on a scrap piece of material to check that the glue
has reached the optimal temperature.
