SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Read all warnings, safety instructions and other instructions
carefully and save them for future reference. Failure to follow
all the instructions and safety instructions can result in a risk
of electric shock, fire and/or serious personal injury. Persons
who are not familiar with these instructions should not use
the product. These instructions should be enclosed with the
product if it is sold or passed on.
• Wear approved safety glasses or a visor when working with,
or maintaining the product. This reduces the risk of serious
personal injury.
• Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark
areas increase the risk of accidents.
• Do not use battery-powered products in explosive
environments, for example, in the vicinity of flammable
liquids, gas or dust. Battery-powered products produce
sparks, which can ignite dust and fumes.
• Keep children and onlookers at a safe distance when using
the glue gun. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
• The product can be used by children from 8 years of age and by
persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons
who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or
receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and
understand the risks involved. Do not allow children to play with
the product. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out
by children unless they are under supervision.
• Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes,
radiators, cookers and refrigerators. There is an increased
risk of electric shock if your body is earthed.
