Using your TV for the first time.
This section deals with the operations
necessary when using your set for the
first time. They include setting the TV
standard, locating and storing the
programs to be received by you and
certain fine adjustments. If your dealer
has already carried that out for you, you
can skip this section. Go to page 35
"Operation".

German. It can be changed over to the
other languages.

Search or input the channel number of
a station directly.
Setting the TV standard.
Germany uses the PAL television
standard. Other countries use the
SECAM-B/G standard, e.g. in Saudi
Arabia, Lebanon, Tunisia, etc. Your TV
will recognize these standards when
receiving a station and will set the
correct standard automatically.
Your Loewe is also equipped to
receive other standards, such as
SECAM-L (French standard), SECAM-D/K
(Eastern European TV standard) and
NTSC (US standard). Your set will not
recognize the other standards
automatically. The standards must
therefore be set manually before
searching for a TV station. To set other
TV standards, proceed as follows:
For this purpose, open the sliding cover
of the remote control to its fullest extent.
Call up display of the programming line
