(B) (the key is in horizontal position and cannot be taken out of the

lock).
- Eject the bottom end cover from the carrying section and put it to
a suitable place.

- Push away the lock (C) with your left thumb -arrow1- and with
your right hand tip out the eccentric lever (D) to the upper
position -arrow 2-.
- Tilt up the eccentric lever for all four bottom ends. Thus the
racks are ready to be fastened on the roof of the vehicle.

Advice. Pay attention to the roof rack components
identification.
- Each bottom end of the carrying section has the location in Czech
and English embossed on the bottom -detail-.
Front carrier
- PŘEDNÍ PRAVÝ - FRONT RIGHT = front right
- PŘEDNÍ LEVÝ - FRONT LEFT = front left
Rear carrier
- ZADNÍ PRAVÝ - REAR RIGHT = rear right
- ZADNÍ LEVÝ - REAR LEFT = rear left

- Use suitable cleansing agent to clean the points for fixing the rack
bottom ends on the roof of the vehicle. (The position of these
points is at the suspension domes on the roof sideplate near the

on-riveted nuts.)
- If required, also clean the contact surfaces on the support feet
(e.g. with mild soapy water).
- On the bottom side of the frame are riveted nuts for sliding in the
centring pins of the basic roof rack.

- Mount the basic roof rack (A) on the roof of the vehicle.
Advice. Make sure you distinguish the front and rear
rack correctly, as well as the identification of the left
and right side!
Place the support on the roof of the vehicle with the
utmost care to prevent damage to the paintwork.
Positioning and fixing of basic roof rack
Caution. Make sure you follow precisely the below
fitting steps to locate and fix the basic roof rack.

- Put the centring pins -detail- of the clamping hook (E) in the
riveting nut holes in the roof sideplate suspension dome.

- Press the hook down to the vehicle roof sideplate.
Advice. After pressing the hook down to the vehicle
roof sideplate make sure that the centring pins of the
hook are fully engaged in the holes of the riveting nuts.
