Safety Precautions
For your protection, observe the following safety precautions when setting up your
equipment:
Follow all cautions, warnings, and instructions marked on the equipment.
Ensure that the voltage and frequency rating of the power outlet you use matches
the electrical rating label on the equipment and video monitor.
Use properly grounded power outlets only.
Never push objects of any kind through openings in the equipment as they may
touch dangerous voltage points or short out components that could result in fire
or electric shock.
Refer servicing of equipment to qualified personnel.
Positioning the Ultra Enterprise System Cabinet
To ensure reliable operation of your Ultra Enterprise System cabinet, and to protect
from overheating, openings in the equipment must not be blocked or covered. The
Enterprise 10000 System Site Planning Guide provides environment and physical
information for preparing an area for the system.
Before installing the Ultra Enterprise System cabinet, ensure that the floor beneath it
is level.
Adjusting the Leveler Feet
The Enterprise 10000 cabinet has four leveling pads threaded into each corner of the
equipment base. Once the cabinets are positioned according to the site plan, the
leveling pads must be lowered until they touch the floor and then lowered an
additional one-half turn to secure the cabinet in place.
Caution – Do not enable the leveling pads to support the cabinet's entire weight.
Confirm this by visually inspecting the casters (wheels) to verify that they are in
contact with the floor.
