Synchro and system control operations (Except some areas)
The
KX-76R
enables various system and remote-control
operations by the following system combinations.
For detail, refer also to the Instruction Manuals provided
with the unit.
(1) System centered around the KC-206 preamplifier
KD-76F or KD-66F
KT-76 or KT-56
Preamplifier
KC-206
KM-106 or KM-206
KX-76R (this unit)
CD player
DP-860, DP-760 or DP-560
(2} System centered around the Receiver (Group 1) with
built-in remote control

How
to perform synchro recording with the turntable
using system (1), (2) and (3)
. Connect the turntable (KD-76F or KD-66F) to the
preamplifier or receiver using the synchro cords pro-
vided withthe turntable. (Jack @ )
. Connect the KX-76R
cassette deck to the preampli-
fier or receiver using the synchro cord provided with
the KX-76R. (Jack @
)
Connect the KX-76R's
LINE
IN/OUT jacks to the
preamplifier's or receiver's TAPE
1 REC/PLAY jacks.
. Set the input selector to "PHONO" then press the
KX-76R's REC/ARM key.
. The KX-76R enters the record mute mode first, then
enters the record pause mode 4 seconds later.
. Place a record on the turntable, press the PLAY/CUT
key and play the record. The KX-76R automatically
Starts recording.
. When
the turntable
enters the cue mode
(tonearm
UP), the KX-76R enters the record mute mode first,
then enters the record pause mode 4 setonds later.
When the.turntable
re-starts the play, the KX-76R
also re-starts recording.
. When the tonearm
returns to the rest position after
playing the record, the KX-76R stops automatically.

How to perform synchro recording with the CD player
using system (1) and (2)
1. Connect between
the CD player, KX-76R
and pre-
amplifier or receiver using the synchro cords provided
with the CD player and KX-76R.
Connect the KX-76R's
LINE
IN/OUT jacks to the
preamplifier's or receiver's TAPE
1 REC/PLAY jacks.
2. Set the input selector to 'CD' then press the KX-
76R's REC/ARM key.
3. When
the CD player enters the pause mode during
synchro
recording,
the
KX-76R
enters the record
mute mode first, then enters the record pause mode
4 seconds later. When the CD player restarts the play,
the KX-76R also restarts recording.
4. When
the CD player stops after recording the disc,
the KX-76R stops automatically.

When connecting the SYSTEM
CONTROL
jacks of different units,
be sure to connect the jacks with the same jack number.

to perform synchro recording with the turntable
using system (4)
1. Connect
the turntable
(KD-75F
or KD-65F) to the
cassette deck
KX-76R
using the synchro cords pro-
vided with the turntable. (Jacks @) and @) )
2. Connect the KX-76R's LINE IN/OUT jacks to the
preamplifier's or receiver's TAPE 1 REC/PLAY jacks.
3. Place a record on the turntable (KD-75F, KD-65F),
press the RECORDING
key and play the record. The
KX-76R automatically starts recording.
4. When the turntable (KD-75F, KD-65F) enters the cue
mode (tonearm UP), the KX-76R
enters the record
mute mode first, then enters the record pause mode
4 seconds later. When the turntable re-starts the play,
the KX-76R also re-starts recording.
5. When the tonearm
returns to the rest position after
playing the record, the KX-76R
stops automatically.

When only the synchro cord is connected, the synchro recording is
not possible. For synchro recording be sure to connect the output
cord
of the turntable
to the PHONO
jack
of the receiver or
preamplifier.
